Castle Juniors FC was founded in 2005 in Bangor, County Down. Currently, the club has a membership of around 500 players – boys and girls – across year groups between age 5 and age 19, as well as a Disability Football group and a senior team. We are based at Bangor Sportsplex whilst also using facilities at Bangor Aurora.
Our club aim is to develop the person, the player, the club and the community. We welcome boys, girls and adults from all backgrounds and aim to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the players to enhance their skills, fitness, health and competitive edge through football, or as a platform to progress in any sport.
The club participates in both small-sided games football and league-based 11 a-side football, having teams in the Down Area Winter League, NIBFA National League, South Belfast Youth Football League and the North Down & Ards Small Sided Games.
The club operates under strict safeguarding regulations and functions through volunteers from the local community who are encouraged to go through IFA courses ensuring all year groups have a number of IFA qualified coaches.
